While countries like France and Germany have established contracts that specifically cater to the needs of the audiovisual sector, Luxembourg currently does not have such a contract. One reason for this is that we are a relatively young and small industry compared to our neighbouring cinema nations France, Germany and Belgium.

Over the last few years, ALTA has raised this issue with political parties and institutions to kick start the conversation and make our desire for this type of contract known. We hope they will hear our call so that we can create a contractual legal framework that reflects the needs and conditions of our unique industry.

In the meantime, you can consult below an example for a "Contrat Type" for self-employed workers and a list of guidelines for contractual negotiations, which ALTA developed internally.
